Biochemistry, Cellular and Molecular Biology Graduate Student at the University of Tennessee

I am a PhD student in the department of Biochemistry & Cellular and Molecular Biology at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. I work in the lab of Dr. Francisco Barrera studying the biophysical membrane dynamics of a pore-forming peptide toxin. Aside from my pursuits in the lab, I am also passionate about making STEM accessible to everyone and being an advocate for those who are also LGBTQ+ in STEM.
